Insert the blanking plug into position 25 (white square).
You can see that position 13 is now free (white circle).
Installing the wiring loom (continued).

Insert the computer connector plug on the loom into the
computer, making sure the locking clip engages.
•
Route all branches of the loom down and then to the left
side of the bike, so that the fuse holder is within the rear
compartment.

Route the loom to the front of the bike on the outside of
the left side frame tube as shown in the photo.

Insert the speed sensor ground terminal into position 13.
Use a paper clip to assist in pushing the terminal home (see
previous page for terminal insertion).

If desired you can now close the terminal lock, however
you will have to remove, cut and replace several wires, so
it is probably easier to leave it unlocked for the moment.

Feed all branches of the loom through the hole in
the frame next to the fuse box so that it is inside
the frame.
•
Cable tie the loom to the frame in two places as
shown.
Note: - You may want to remove the loom again to
terminate the connections after you have cut all the
branches to suitable lengths.
