When the P-ICI2 Coaxial Episcopic Illuminator is used:
Photomicrographic magnification = (PLI projection lens magnification)
× (Zoom magnification) × (Objective magnification) × 1.5
When the Plan Apo and ED Plan series objective for SMZ1000/800 is used:
Photomicrographic magnification = (PLI projection lens magnification)
× (Zoom magnification) × (Objective magnification) × 0.8

Attaching the beam splitter

Mount the beam splitter onto the zooming
body aligning the groove on the bottom of the
beam splitter with the positioning pin on the
zooming body while tilting the beam splitter
toward the rear. Tighten the eyepiece tube
clamp screw.
[P-IBSS2] Mount it so as to position the
[P-IBSD2] 1) Mount it so as to position the
