3.3 Operational procedures

1. Start PNP.EXE from DOS mode or the Windows DOS prompt.
2. Operation key assignment
• Determine the operation mode with the F1 ~ F9 and ESC keys.
F1: Setting file changeover for respective models
F4: EDID data for reading
F5: D-SUB connector (Analog) for writing (EDID data)
F8: DVI-D connector (Digital) for writing (EDID data)
F9: D-SUB (Analog) and D-VI-D (Digital) for writing (Write ALL)
ESC: End of program
3. Press the F1 key and enter an input of setting file for the related model. Press the Enter key.

4. Writing and inspection procedures
In this section, explanations are given in regard to an example of procedures used for the writing and
inspection of all items.
a. The D-SUB connector terminal of the writing equipment and AUTO ADJ I/F BOX are connected with
the D-SUB signal cable.
b. Press the F9 key (write ALL).
c. Since the screen is changed over to the one that waits for an input of serial number, examine the serial
number of the set, enter it from the keyboard, and press the Enter key.
The message of the screen:
Model Name "LCD1920NX"
Input serial number (Enter only: Use previous number)
d. EDID data writing for the D-SUB (ANALOG)
When the Enter key is pressed, the EDID data of the D-SUB (ANALOG) are written.
The message of the screen:
Input 1 File 1 set N/A (Hit any key)
e. EDID data writing for the DVI-D (DIGITAL)
The DVI-D connector terminal of the writing device and AUTO ADJ I/F BOX are connected with the DVI
to D-SUB Signal Cable (Special).
When the Enter key is pressed, the EDID data of the DVI-D (DIGITAL) are written.
The message of the screen:
Input 2 File 2 set N/A (Hit any key)
