REMOVING A HOOD LAMP SOCKET AND BOTTOM COVER

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2.
Remove the ten screws from the bottom
cover and lower the cover.
Bottom Cover Assembly

To remove a hood lamp socket:
a) Remove the screw from the lamp
socket mounting plate and remove the
plate from the holder (see the top right
photos).
b) Pull the bulb from the lamp socket.
c) Cut the lamp socket wires near the sock-
et, and splice a new socket and mount-
ing plate in its place.
