REMOVING THE COOLING FAN MOTOR
AND THE EXHAUST FAN THERMOSTAT
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2.
Remove the control panel from the oven
(see page 4-14 for the procedure).

To remove the cooling fan motor:
a) Remove the two right screws from the
fan motor (see the top-right photo).
b) Disconnect the two wires from the fan
motor terminals.
c) Pull the cooling fan motor to the right,
unhook the left side from the bracket,
and remove the motor from the oven.

To remove the exhaust fan thermostat:
a) Remove the cooling fan motor (see
step 3).
b) Disconnect the two wires from the ex-
haust fan thermostat terminals.
c) Remove the screws from the ex-
haust fan thermostat and remove the
thermostat.
