If your microwave oven is not working, check the following:

The microwave oven must be installed or located according to the provided Installation Instructions. It is suitable for use above both gas and electric cooking equipment and is intended for use above ranges with a maximum width of 36" (91.44 cm). The appliance must be grounded by plugging it into a properly installed and grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter. A 120 volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15- or 20-amp electrical supply with a fuse or circuit breaker is required, with a time-delay fuse or circuit breaker and a separate circuit serving only this microwave oven being recommended.

To test if a dish is microwave-safe, place it in the microwave oven with 1 cup (250 mL) of water beside it. Program 1 minute of cook time at 100%. If the dish becomes hot and the water stays cool, do not use the dish in the microwave oven.
To set the clock, touch OPTIONS/CLOCK to access the Clock submenu, then follow the prompts to set the time. You can also set the clock format (12 hours with AM and PM, 12 hours without AM and PM, or 24 hours) in the Clock submenu.
If the display shows a letter followed by a number, it is an error indicator, and you should call for assistance. If "Enter clock" with flashing digits appears, it means there has been a power failure and you need to reset the clock.
If your microwave oven is sparking inside (arcing), it may be due to soil buildup on the cavity walls, microwave inlet cover, cooking rack supports, and the area where the door touches the frame. Refer to the "Microwave Oven Care" section for cleaning instructions.
To unlock the control, touch and hold the Cancel control for about 3 seconds until two tones sound and the padlock icon disappears from the display.
The grease filters should be cleaned monthly, or as prompted by the filter status indicator in the display.
The ventilation fan has various speeds, from high to low, and off. It comes on automatically as a cooling fan during any cook function.
To set the Vent Timer, touch OPTIONS/CLOCK to reach the Fan Timer submenu, and select the setting to run for exactly 30 minutes, or for only 30 minutes more (off after 30 minutes). The vent fan can be turned off at any time using the Vent Fan control.
On some models, the Auto Vent Fan will automatically turn on at high speed if the temperature from the range or cooktop below gets too hot, and cannot be turned off while "AUTO FAN ON for heat circulation" is displayed. Similarly, Dynamic Fan Sensing will automatically turn on at various speeds depending on the temperature, and cannot be turned off while "AUTO FAN Sensor Technology for heat circulation" is displayed. The fan speed will decrease and turn off as the temperature cools.
The sensor cooking feature detects moisture released from food as it heats and adjusts the cooking time accordingly. To use it:
The charcoal filter should be replaced approximately every 6 months, or as prompted by the filter status indicator in the display. The charcoal filter cannot be cleaned.
You can perform a Factory Reset by touching OPTIONS/CLOCK to reach the Demo Mode submenu, and selecting option 10-Factory Reset. For filter status, touch OPTIONS/CLOCK to reach the Filter Reset submenu and activate reset after cleaning or replacing filters.
To turn off the beeping sounds (tones), touch OPTIONS/CLOCK to reach the Sound submenu. From there, you can follow the prompts to turn off programming tones or all tones (including end-of-function signals).
