2.12 LAMP INNER HOUSING

The lamp inner housing consists of the DC drive light source lamp (150 W-350 V), the
power supply connector and the fuse board (FU board). The lamp mounted on the base of
the lower case is a user-replaceable item (Type: ELPLP03). The average brightness of the
lamp is 400 Im (ANSI). When the lamp is new, its brightness is approx. 450 Im (maximum).
After running about 2000 hours, the lamp's brightness is reduced to almost half that of a
new one.
The fuse board (FU board) determines whether the lamp inner housing is installed, and
controls the lamp life (2000 hours). The power supply connector receives 350 VDC current
from the power supply unit, so its lead wire is connected to the lamp.
