Check the following for defects:
• Intake fan and exhaust fan on the power supply unit.
• Power supply unit (vibration noise from the pulse transformer)
Check the following for defects:
YES
• Thermistor (LV/PBS/Lamp)
• Exhaust fan, intake fan
• Air filter frame (dirt)
YES
Check the following for defects:
• Optical engine (May be caused by dirt on the light guide unit, projector
lens unit, and light valves on the optical head unit.)
YES
Check the following for defects:
• AC input (including power line transit or distortion)
• Power supply unit
• Main board
• Cable connection (failure to make connection)
• Operating environment (temperature, condensation)
The problem may be static electricity. Check that power cords to the PowerLite
5000 and input devices are grounded properly.
