VCCI COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Type 1 information equipment, which uses
radio-frequency energy and fully complies with the specifications limiting computer information equipment in radio
interference regulations (VCCI rules). If not installed and used properly according to the manufacturer's instructions,
this device may cause interference to radio and television reception. However, there is no guarantee that interference
will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause interference to radio and television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference
by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
The user may find the following booklet, prepared by the Federal Communications Commission, helpful: How to
Identify and Resolve Radio-TV Interference Programs. This booklet is available from the U.S. Government Printing Office,
Washington, D.C., 20402, Stock No. 044-000-00345-4.
You can determine whether your computer is causing interference by turning it off. If the interference stops, it was
probably caused by the computer or its peripheral devices. To further isolate the problem, disconnect either the
peripheral device or its I/O cable.
These devices usually require a shielded cable. For EPSON peripheral devices, you can obtain the proper shielded
cable from your dealer. For non-EPSON devices, contact the manufacturer or dealer for assistance.
WARNING
Only peripherals (computer input/output devices, terminals, printers, etc.) certified to comply with the Class B limits
may be attached to this projector. Operation with non-certified peripherals is likely to result in interference to radio
and TV reception. The connection of a non-shielded equipment interface cable to this equipment will invalidate the
FCC Certification of this device and may cause interference levels that exceed the limits established by the FCC for
this equipment. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could void the user's
authority to operate the projector.
