    Do not insert your finger into the gap or holes in the scale. You may be injured. The DSR-400 uses a liquid crystal display. If the LCD breaks and the liquid leaks from the LCD, do not touch it with your fingers. The liquid is toxic if ingested. Be especially careful around small children.

    III.E Unit Selection The DSR-400 has both decimal pound and kilogram display capability. The current mode of the scale is indicated by the arrow heads in the LCD display. To toggle between the two modes, press the key.
