- Page 2 SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION: NEVER STAND THE UNIT UPSIDE DOWN ON THE PLATFORM SUPPORT, OR PICK UP SCALE USING PLATFORM SUPPORT AS A HANDLE. SEVERE DAMAGE MAY RESULT TO THE WEIGHING MECHANISM. A. Carefully unpack the scale and lay the scale on its back or side.
- Page 3 POWER ON/OFF A. Turning the scale on: 1. Remove any load from the scale platform. 2. Press the ON/ZERO key. The display will briefly show all digital segments (figure eights) together with all other status indications. The scale will then automatically reset to zero. B.
