Disassembly and Reassembly
4-13 MPF Assembly and Miscellaneous on MPF Assembly
1. Before you remove the MPF assembly, you
should remove:
-Controller Board (see page 4-3)
-Main Cover (see page 4-7)
-MP Tray (see page 4-6)
2. Unplug two connectors from the drive board.
3. Remove five screws, then remove the MPF
assembly.

4. To replace the pickup roller on the MPF
assembly:
Squeeze the snap fit on the roller and remove
the roller.
Snap fit
To replace the damper gear on the MPF
assembly :
1) Remove one screw, then remove the damp gear.
