INPUT menu

The following functions are accessible via the INPUT
menu. After selecting an item according to the
procedure described in the preceding "Advanced
Menu operation" section (35), refer to the following
table for details on operating the selected item.

Using the ▲/▼ cursor buttons in the PROGRESSIVE menu
changes the interpolation mode of an interlaced signal.

PROGRESSIVE
- NOTE -
• The PROGRESSIVE function can only be used for interlaced
video, s-video, or component video 525i (480i) or 625i (576i) 1125i
(1080i) signals.
• The TV and FILM modes may cause certain picture defects (ex.,
jagged lines). If this occurs, select TURN OFF, although the screen
image may lose its crispness.
Using the ▲/▼ cursor buttons changes the color space mode.

 RGB, SMPTE240, REC709, REC601
COLOR SPACE
- NOTE -
• The COLOR SPACE function can only be used for signals from
the COMPUTER, HDMI or COMPONENT VIDEO ports excluding
component video 525i (480i) or 625i (576i), or SCART RGB signals.
• The AUTO mode may not work well for some signals. In this
situation select a suitable mode other than AUTO.

TV  FILM  TURN OFF
This mode makes the screen image crisper.
This mode makes the screen image crisper, and this mode can
also be adapted to the 3-2 Pull-Down system.
AUTO  RGB  SMPTE240  REC709  REC601
Automatically selects an optimum mode.
The selected color space is used.
