Replacing non-hot-plug components
If a defective non-hot-plug component (for more information, see the manual
"PRIMERGY ServerViewSuite Local Service Concept - LSC" on the
PRIMERGY ServerView Suite DVD 2) was detected, proceed as follows:
Ê Exit all applications and shut down the server blade correctly.
Ê Press the On/Off button on the server blade control panel.
Ê Pull the server blade out of the basic unit (see

Ê Press the Indicate CSS button on the system board (see

The PRIMERGY diagnostic LED (see service supplement) of the defective
CSS component glows orange and shows which CSS component on the
system board must be replaced.
