Introduction

The VPU Card

The VPU Card ...

System
contains the voice ports for the VM Unit.
Configuration
comes in two flavors: the VPU/4 (with 4 voice ports on it) and the VPU/8 (with 8
voice ports). NOTE: The number of available voice ports has nothing to do with the
FF1
number of extensions that can be supported. It just represents the number of people
who can access voicemail at the same time.
System
must be installed in FS9 and/or FS10 in the same CAB-96 as the VSSC Card (in
FS11) that controls it. For CAB-40, the VPU must be installed in FS4 (VSSC in
FF2
FS5).
Trunks
* (CAB-96 only) If using only one VPU Card, install it in FS10 so you can use

Extensions
has LEDs that flash when the VM Unit is in operation.
