6. MAGAZINE SORT

This function allows 1-sided originals to be copied and sorted so that they can be folded and bound along
a centre line like typical magazines or booklets.
Example of copying a 12-page document

When placing a portrait originals horizontal to you in the magazine sort mode, be sure to set the correct
direction of the originals. (
The Magazine sort function has 2 procedures; operating from the basic menu and operating from the
edit menu. When operating from the edit menu, the margin width can be adjusted.
To operate from the basic menu, see

Place paper in the drawer(s).
• When using the Saddle Stitch Finisher, either A3, A4-R, B4, LD, LG or LT-R is available.

Select the paper type.

Place the original(s).

Press the [EDIT] button to enter the edit menu, and then press the
[MAGAZINE SORT] button.
