The Negative Image feature reverses the colours
of the whole document image.
This feature has two options:

Negative Image

Positive Image
This produces a copy that looks like the
original document, as illustrated in Figure 98.
This is the default setting.
Negative Image
With this option, the positive colours are
converted to their complements. Full colour or
3-pass colour positive image colours become
negative image colours or the complementary
colours of the positive.
The simplest example of negative imaging is
from white to black, as illustrated in Figure 99.
White is the negative colour of black. If a black
image on a white background is copied in this
mode, the image is copied as white, and the
background is black.
With the Negative Image option, you can
select a single output colour to produce a
copy that has the selected colour as the
background colour with shades of the colour
in the image area.
