Full Colour

The Full Colour option combines all four dry ink
(toner) colours (black, cyan, magenta, and
yellow). You should select the Full Colour option
when the document contains colour and black, as
in Figure 25. In this mode, output is produced at
approximately 12 copies/prints per minute.
KEY POINT: Gold, silver, and fluorescent colours
cannot be copied accurately on this copier/printer.
The dry inks (toners) do not contain the metallic
particles necessary to accurately reproduce gold
and silver colours or the fluorescent properties
that are required to reproduce fluorescent colours.

3 Pass Colour

The 3 Pass Colour option combines the three
colours of dry ink (toner) (cyan, magenta, and
yellow), as illustrated in Figure 26. You should
select the 3 Pass Colour option when the
document contains very little black, or when
Process Black is acceptable over a true
reproduction black, such as is used with
photographs. Process Black is a combination of
equal amounts of the three dry inks (toners).
