Network Setup
Note: The Network Setup function should only be used to check settings and modify
parameter values while troubleshooting problems. It should not be used as the main
method for setting up and configuring handsets. The PDM is provided for this purpose.

Remark
Allows a user friendly name for the current Network profile used in the
handset. The network name is not the SSID but it can be set to
correspond to it.
The default IP address set by DHCP. However, a static IP address may be
entered manually. If using a static IP address, the following parameters
can be set:
- Phone IP
- Subnet mask
- Default gateway
- Primary DNS IP-address
- TFTP server IP address
Specifies the SSID setup in the WLAN.
Note: Entering a SSID with a complex combination of alphanumeric
characters may not easy from the keypad. The PDM provides an
alternative means of entering the SSID by selecting Network >
<network id> > SSID.
Tip: The SSID is also shown in Device info> WLAN info, as long as the
handset is associated with an AP.
Configures the radio settings (802.11 b/g, 802.11 b/g/n, 802.11a or
802.11a/n.
Configures the various encryption and authentication schemes:
- Open (Default setting in handset with no security)
- WEP (64 or 128 bits)
- WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK (If both are supported by the AP the handset
selects the stronger WPA2.)
