RIGOL Kit Overview The kit is used to mount your DG10X1/DG10X2/DG2000 series function/arbitrary waveform generator into a standard 19-inch rack. Next, we will take DG2000 as an example for showing how to install kit as the installation methods and tools of all series are the same. -

RIGOL Figure 2: Screw Models Space Requirements for Installation Following requirements must be fulfilled by the machine cabinet in which the instrument is mounted. The machine cabinet should be a standard 19-inch. At least 3U spaces (133.5mm) have to be provided by machine cabinet. -

RIGOL Installation Instructions This section will introduce you how to mount the DG2000 series function/arbitrary waveform generator into a standard 19-inch machine cabinet. Installation Tools Table 2 Installation Tools List Name Description Phillips screwdriver PH2 Phillips screwdriver CAUTION Only authorized personnel can perform the installation, improper operation may cause damage to the instrument or incorrect installation. - Page 7 RIGOL Install the left and right plate: aim the detents of right and left plate at the openings on support board and insert selectively, then fix them using eight M4 bolts. Figure 5: Installation of Left and Right Plate Place the instrument: aim the parallels of instrument at the corresponding openings and then put it onto the support board.
- Page 8 RIGOL Fix the instrument: fasten or fit the instrument tightly into the support board using two fixed fingers in connection with four M4 bolts. Figure 7: Fix the Instrument Mount front panel: aim the opening of front panel at the front of instrument and fix them using four M4 bolts.
- Page 9 RIGOL Loading into machine cabinet: mount the rack with instrument-fixed onto a standard 19-inch machine cabinet respectively using 4 M6 bolts and square nuts. Figure 9: Loading into Machine Cabinet Notice The rack holds a height of 3U, and the holes those in compliance with the arrow direction are the mounting holes for rack.
