Calling external parties

Dialling with call number checking (en-bloc dialling)

Press the Talk key. You will hear the off-hook tone.

Enter the required call number using the dialling keypad.
The number you have entered is shown on the display,
e.g.:

You will hear the ring tone.
Suffix dialling
If you have dialled the call number of a switch,
for example, you can now suffix-dial an exten-
sion manually. You can also suffix dial a call
number from the directory or the call list.
En-bloc dialling allows you to check and correct the exter-
nal call number (max. 32 digits) entered before it is dialled.
The input function is activated with call number checking
(' page 33).

Enter the required call number. The number you have en-
tered is shown on the display, e.g.:

You can correct the number entered with the input func-
tion.
w Press the Talk key within 30 seconds to seize the line. The
call number is dialled. You will then hear the ring
tone.
