Analog trunks
Entering the analog trunk and the MSI

For operating your Gigaset 2011 pocket in a telephone sys-
tem for through connection to the public telephone net-
work you must set:
the analog trunk
l
the pause length after the analog trunk (if a pause is
l
necessary after entry of the analog trunk)
If the telephone system is connected as a subsystem to
a main system, you must set:
the analog trunk
l
the MSI
l
the pause length after the analog trunk/MSI
l
The analog trunk and MSI have one to three characters
and can comprise the digits
r
and keys.

Activate the Service menu item.

Start the setting procedure.

Enter the four-digit base code (factory default: "0000")

Select the analog trunk.

Select the MSI.

Enter the analog trunk or the MSI. If more than one ana-

log trunk or MSI is available, you can enter the next analog
trunk/MSI by pressing
Save the setting.

For the pause length to be entered after the an-
alog trunk/MSI, please consult the documenta-
tion supplied with your telephone system.
