Descriptions and remarks
Recording will automatically start when the power is turned on.
Sequential changeover time intervals.
The video output format is fixed to the PAL system. Therefore, the user
cannot set the settings.
Even when "On" is selected for "Overwrite", recording will not be per-
formed to protect data from overwriting for the days set on "Rec. Reserve"
of "CAMERA SETUP" unless the set days have passed.
It is possible to conceal information such as the channel name that is dis-
played on the screen.
Even after the lapse of the preset time, the key lock does not function if
recording data is being backed up.
After the lapse of the preset time counted after the completion of record-
ing data backup, the key will be automatically locked.
When setting is made at "On" and a password is wrongly keyed in three
times continuously, the buzzer begins to sound for one minute.
Buzzer "On/Off" is set up.
The time period for pre recording can differ according to the order of
recording start. The minimum time period is 5 seconds. (Changeable with
"I Frame Inter.", "Rec. Quality", and "Stream Type")
When changing this setting, it is necessary to stop recording and discon-
nect all network connections.
Note: When Pre Recording is set at "On", the pre-recorded image data
may be separated to different data groups.
If settings of "Rec. Quality", "I Frame Inter.", "Stream Type", and "Frame
Rate" are changed in the middle of recording, recording will stop and
then will resume. Then the setting values become effective.
If recording is not stopped, the new setting becomes effective after the
lapse of the time period preset with "RECORD LENGTH".
Playback is delayed if the setting value for "I Frame Inter." is too high. We
recommended using a default value. When changing this setting, it is
necessary to stop recording and disconnect the network connections.
Implement the settings of "I Frame Inter." after the pre-recording setting
has been set at OFF.
Resolution of image data output from the VGA interface
When an alarm goes off, the screen of the occurring alarm is displayed in
the single-spot mode.
When the setting is made at "VBR", there may be a difference in recording
length. If the recording time need be in higher preference, the setting
should be made at "CBR". If screen changes seem to be extreme, the set-
ting made at "VBR" is preferable.
N.O.: Alarm is started with a low-level signal.
N.C.: Alarm is started with a high-level signal.
The frame rate set at "Full" is 25 frames/second.
