Bent orifice bracket holder
Oven burner tube pushed too far back
Air shutter out of adjustment
Air shutter out of adjustment
Wrong or dirty orifice
Defective glow coil igniter
Loose or broken connection between com-
ponents
Defective bi-metal valve
Defective thermostat
No power
No gas
Troubleshooting Guide
Straighten and reposition or replace if neces-
sary. Needs to be 90° with burner tube.
Reverse the bracket so the flange faces toward
the back of the unit.
Replace if not drawing 3.3 to 3.6 amps. See
procedure in technical section
Straighten so that gas jet is aimed straight down
venturi tube, replace if necessary.
Replace if not drawing 3.03 to 3.3 VAC. See
procedure in technical section
Straighten the capillary tube or replace the ther-
mostat
Replace thermostat
Clear as necessary
Reverse the bracket so the flange faces toward
the back of the unit.
Straighten so that gas jet is aimed straight down
venturi tube, replace if necessary.
Pull burner tube forward so orifice is in burner
tube.
Adjust air shutter
Adjust air shutter
Check orifice size and clean if necessary
Replace if not drawing 3.3 to 3.6 amps.
Check all connections per wiring diagram
Replace if not drawing 3.03 to 3.3 VAC.
Check continuity at the thermostat and replace if
defective.
Check outlet and circuit breaker
Verify that there is gas to the appliance. You
may have to also check bimetal valve. Also
check shut-off valve on manifold to verify it is in
open position.
