The toner cover is not closed completely.
Check the toner cover, and make sure that it is
completely closed.
The optional handset or the external telephone is
off the hook.
Hang up the optional handset or the external
telephone.
This message appears when connecting the
power cord, or when the machine is not ready for
printing.
Wait until the message disappears.
The size of the paper in the paper feeder is
different from that of the paper specified in
<CASSETTE> of the <PAPER SETTINGS> menu.
Load the correct size paper or change the paper
size in <CASSETTE> of the <PAPER SETTINGS>
menu. For more information, see "If <LOAD
CORRECT PAPER> is displayed," on p. 8-18.

LOAD PAPER
Description No paper is loaded in the paper feeder.
Action Load paper correctly. Then press [OK] when
using the paper feeder.
LOST IMAGE
Description The machine was turned off when any
documents were stored in the machines
memory.
Please note that any data stored in the memory,
including received fax documents, will be
deleted if you disconnect the power cord of the
machine.
Action The error is automatically released after two
seconds, and the machine automatically prints
out the lost report that shows the records still
existing in the activity report.
