Dry off the ends
of the shore
power
cord.
Spray
a
m o i s t u r e
repellant into
the receptacle
and cord ends.
On the boat,
plug the cord
end into the boat receptacle. Turn clockwise to
lock. Thread the locking ring onto the boat
receptacle to prevent accidental unplugging.

CAUTION
It is imperative that the shore power outlet is
dry before plugging into the dock power inlet.

CAUTION
Route and tie the power cord from the boat to
the dockside power outlet box to prevent
persons tripping over it and the cord falling in
the water.

YSTEM
Shore power cord should be secured or routed
to avoid laying or falling into water and to avoid
stress on shore power plug and inlet.
The use of extension shore power cords is not
recommended. Excessive power cord extensions
can cause a voltage drop and may prevent some
electronic devices from operating correctly.
2. On the Dock:
A. Turn OFF Dock
Breaker.
B. Wipe the outlet
dry, spray mois-
ture repellant into
the receptacle,
then plug the
other end of the
power cord into
the outlet box on
the dock.
C. Turn ON Dock
Breaker.
3. On the Boat:
A. Turn ON the main
AC
breaker
above the shore
power plug in the
transom
com-
partment.
