6 Software user interface

6.10 The Preview rack

The preview rack enables you to quickly preview and select media in the headphones without loading them into a player.
1 Play/Pause: when in Play mode the preview rack will play the media currently selected in the MediaBase.
2 Preview volume: adjusts the volume of the headphones.
3 Load A/B: loads selected media in the chosen player. The media is automatically loaded at its current position of the
preview. It is also matched with the player pointed by the crossfader if you previously clicked on Match.
4 BPM difference: displays the difference between the BPM of the player pointed by the crossfader and the BPM of the
media being pre-listened.
5 Match: synchronizes the BPM of the media pre-listening and the BPM of the player pointed by the crossfader.
6 Search bar: displays a waveform of the whole media. You can go to any point on the media by simply clicking on the
waveform.
If the Artwork column is showed in the MediaBase, you can see a video preview by clicking and moving the mouse pointer
over the artwork.
