- Page 2 SAFETY (Red Handled ) CONTROL SWITCH: The control switch allows you to temporarily disable the remote starting function of your Remote Start system. To disable the system, move the red handled control switch to the OFF position. REMOTE STARTING THE VEHICLE: The system WILL NOT start the vehicle if any one of the following situations exist: 1.

Press and release the programming switch 3 times 3. Press and hold, for 3 seconds, the button of the transmitter you wish to add until the parking light flashes indicating the transmitter has been learned.
