Baxall Vivid Digital Video Recorder
For Vivid units with built in CD or DVD writers (such as VIVIDLite and VIVID+), the CD/DVD unit is by default set as the primary
export device. In order to use a USB device to archive files, the CD/DVD writer must first be set to unused (i.e. turned off).
1.
Insert a USB memory stick into the Vivid unit.
2.
Press the Menu key and enter the installer password.
3.
Use the up/down arrow keys to select Harware setup > Disks > Disk Manager and press the enter key. Select Next page
until the disk manager window opens for any internal CD/DVD device.
4.
Select 'Export destination' using the arrow keys and press the enter key.
5.
Select 'Unused' using the arrow keys and press the enter key.
6.
Select 'Next page' using the arrow keys and press the enter key.
7.
In the USB disk manager menu, select 'Unused' using the arrow keys and press the enter key.
