Baxall Vivid Digital Video Recorder

Insert a blank CD or DVD into the Vivid unit.

Press the Menu key and enter the installer password.

Use the up/down arrow keys to select the Replay menu and press the enter key.

Mark block start allows you to enter the starting point of the data you want to export. Select the field and press the enter

key. Use the left/right arrow keys to select either the date or time parameters. Use the up/down arrow keys to change the

selected parameter.

Mark block end allows you to enter the ending point of the data you want to export. Select the field and press the enter

key. Use the left/right arrow keys to select either the date or time parameters. Use the up/down arrow keys to change the

selected parameter.

Use the down arrow key to select Length of marked block and press the enter key. This will initiate a process that will

calculate the length of the marked block (in Mbytes) and display the results in a pop-up window.

Select OK and press the enter key to close the pop-up window.

Use the up/down arrow keys to select Export marked block and press the enter key. The selected data will then be

exported to a temporary location on the Vivid DVR's hard drive. When completed, the data can be copied to the DVD/CD

(step 9). NOTE: The QuickViewer program can be copied to the CD/DVD along with the data blocks by setting the appropriate

'Include quickviewer..' option to Yes within the menu.

The Export Disk page shows the file(s) which will be exported to the CD-R or DVD-R. Use the up/down arrow keys to

select Write Disk and press the enter key.
