6. Remove the PCI adapter retention bracket or the adapter retention screw
(depending on the model) from the rear of the system and remove the
expansion slot cover.
7. Touch the static-protective package containing the adapter to any unpainted
metal surface in the computer; then, remove the adapter from the package.
8. Install the adapter in the expansion slot.
9. Replace the PCI adapter retention bracket or adapter retention screw
(depending on the model).
10. Rotate the PCI adapter support bracket back into place.
11. Replace the cover, see "Replacing the cover and connecting the cables" on
page 65.
