Chapter 11. Tivoli Common Agent Services messages

Common Agent messages

BTC0006I The common agent has stopped.
Explanation: No additional information is available

BTC0007I The common agent MBeanServer has
started.
Explanation: No additional information is available
for this message.
BTC0008I The common agent is ready for
autonomic on demand e-business.
Explanation: The common agent has started, and it is
running.
BTC1003I The security service started successfully
and has been deployed.
Explanation: The common agent security service
started successfully and has been deployed.
BTC1004I The security service stopped
successfully and has been undeployed.
Explanation: The common agent security service
stopped successfully and has been undeployed.
BTC1005I The system is attempting to register or
obtain credentials with the agent
manager manager_name.
Explanation: The service is attempting to register with
the specified agent manager.
BTC1006I The system is attempting to unregister
with the agent manager manager_name.
Explanation: The service is attempting to unregister
with the specified agent manager.
BTC1007E The system failed to access the
properties that are needed to perform
registration. Verify that the registration
properties exist in the
endpoint.properties file.
Explanation: The common agent registration service
was unable to register the common agent because the

necessary properties could not be accessed. The
endpoint.properties file might be corrupted or missing.
System action: If the common agent cannot register, it
will not be able to communicate with the agent
manager. The product subagent bundle will not be able
to provide data to its resource manager.
Administrator Response: Check the
endpoint.properties file to make sure that it is not
corrupted and that the properties it contains are correct
for your environment. If necessary, correct the
information in the properties file. Then stop and restart
the common agent on the machine.
BTC1008W An error occurred when the common
agent registration service attempted to
access an important registration
parameter. The default value value will
be used.
Explanation: The common agent registration service
was unable to access an important registration
parameter. The endpoint.properties file might be
corrupted or missing.
System action: The common agent registration service
will attempt to access the properties file again. If the
next attempt is unsuccessful, the service will use the
specified default value for this parameter.
Administrator Response: Check the
endpoint.properties file to see if it is corrupted or
missing. If the parameters in the endpoint.properties
file are correct, stop and restart the common agent. If
the error continues, contact customer support.
BTC1009I Registration parameter: variable
Explanation: This variable is used by the common
agent registration service to register the common agent.
BTC1010E The common agent registration service
failed to obtain a certificate and key
pair from the agent manager.
Explanation: The common agent registration service
was unable to obtain the security certificate and key
pair from the agent manager.
System action: The common agent is unable to
initialize security credentials. If this continues, the
