Inserting Zippers / Fermetures à glissière / COLOCACIÓN DE CREMALLERAS
Zippers are set in two different ways such as by inserting
in side seam of the garment and by centering in opening.
Les fermetures à gllissière sont placées de deux
façons différents : recouverte sur le côté du vêtement
ou centrée à l'ouverture.
Existen dos formas de colocar las cremalleras: la que
queda cosida como recubierta por el tejido y otra que
queda centrada.

CAUTION: Make sure to turn off the machine before
changing the presser foot.
ATTENTION: Assurez-vous d'éteindre la machine avant
de changer le pied presseur.
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese de apagar la máquina antes
de cambiar el prensatelas.
Select stitch pattern.
If the center needle position is selected, the needle will come in contact
with the zipper foot. To avoid this, be sure to select the left needle position.
Sélectionnez le programme.
Si l'aiguille est en position centrale, elle touchera le pied presseur. Pour
l'éviter, sélectionnez l'aiguille à gauche.
Seleccione el tipo de costura.
Si selecciona la posición central de la aguja, ésta entrará en contacto con
el prensatelas de cremallera. Para evitarlo, asegúrese de seleccionar la
posición izquierda de la aguja.
Insert zippers using the standard presser foot (A).
Place the fabrics face-to-face. Check the runstitching length and the length
of zipper to be inserted. Baste the zipper on the fabrics.
* Machine-baste...Zipper opening length + 1 cm
Une fermeture est recouverte lorsque un bord tissu la recouvre et la
cache, ne laissant apparaitre que le point droit.
* Bàti à la machine...Longueur de la fermeture +1cm
Colocación de cremalleras usando el prensatelas estándar (A).
Coloque el tejido encarado. Compruebe la longitud de puntada y la longitud
de la cremallera que se debe coser. Hilvane la cremallera al tejido.
* Hilván...Longitud de la apertura de la cremallera + 1 cm
Attach the zipper foot (B) to the machine.
To sew the left part of the zipper, place the zipper under the right portion of
the zipper foot. To sew the right part of the zipper, place the zipper under
the left portion of the foot.
Si la fermeture est à gauche de l'aiguille, la partie gauche du pied ira sur le
zip. Si la fermeture est à droite de l'aiguille, la partie droite du pied ira sur
le zip.
Coloque el prensatelas de cremallera (B).
Para coser la parte izquierda de la cremallera, coloque la cremallera bajo
la parte derecha del prensatelas. Para coser la parte derecha de la
cremallera, coloque ésta bajo la parte izquierda del prensatelas.
