FUNCTIONS

Functions are accessed by pressing the "FUNCTION" button on an IR remote. Each time the "FUNCTION" button is pressed
the next function will be displayed. After about 10 seconds of no activity the function screen will turn off. The functions are:
Information
Sleep Timer
Basic Selection
Zoom Mode
MTS
Channel no.
Sound Mode
Picture Mode
Clear Fav List?
Show Channel Info ?
OK
Cancel Do not show channel number and label when channel is changed

ALARMS

There are seven alarms that can be programmed. Press the "ALARM" button on the HCI IR remote control to access the
ALARM setup menu. Use the up/down arrow buttons to select the alarm number you wish to edit. Press the right arrow button
to edit the selected alarm. Alarm settings are:
Alarm Mode
Time
Date
Input Source
Air/Cable
Channel No.
Volume
NOTE: Date and Time must be properly set for the alarms to function at correct time. See page 14 to set date and time.
Displays current TV information
Time left on the sleep timer. 0 = timer off.
Current Closed Caption type selection.
Current zoom setting.
Current MTS setting.
Current channel being viewed.
Current sound mode
Current picture mode.
Clears favorites list.
Show channel number and label when channel is changed.
Determines what the alarm does. Selections are:
None – Daily On – Daily Off – Power On – Power Off
None
Daily On
Daily Off
Power On
Power Off
Sets time alarm will occur. "Alarm Mode" can not be set to "None".
Sets date alarm will occur. "Alarm Mode" must be set to "Power On" or "Power Off".
Source set will use when turned on by alarm. "Alarm Mode" must be set to "Daily On" or "Daily
Off". Selections are:
None – TV – SD/USB – VGA
Selects air or cable as TV source for Alarm "Input Source" must be set to TV
Selects alarm turn on channel. "Input Source" must be set to TV
Alarm turn on volume. Set to "0" to volume setting when set was turned off.
