Connecting the RF antenna and external IR Repeater
(For ~~-6060 only)
The remote control for this receiver has the RF (radio frequency) and IR (infrared rays) transmrssron functron
IR repeaters enables you to control
components located rn cabrnets or behind glass doors You can enjoy a wider remote control srgnal range by placrng the RF antenna and IR repeater away
from the recerver.

select either
1. RF REMOTE Band I, or
2. RF REMOTE Band 2)
Connecting IR repeater
0 Connect the IR repeater to the device as described in the
repeater's
manual.
Q Connect the IR repeater cable(s) to the IR REPEATER OUT
jack(s).
Notes

IR repeaters send a srgnal srmrlar to the device's own remote control.
Xantech repeaters (models 282-00, 286-00, or 283-001 are compatrble
with Your new audio-vrdeo recerver.
Cynecting
the RF remote antenna
@ Insert the jack of the provided
RF remote antenna into the
RF REMOTE ANTENNA jack.
0 Place the antenna wire vertically
and fix it.

Place the antenna away from the metallic panel.
