Recording a music source
0 Use the Input Selector keys to select the source (other than "MD/
TAPE") you want to record.
0 Set the MD or TAPE recorder to record.
0 Start playback, then start recording.
0 Use the Input selector keys to select the video source (other than
"VIDEO 1") you want to record.
0 Set the video deck connected
to VIDEO 1 to record.

0 Use the Input Selector keys to select the source (CD/DVD,
DVD/GCH, VIDEO 2, VIDEO 3) you want to record.
0 Set the MD or TAPE recorder to record.
0 Press and hold the DIMMER key for more than 2 seconds to
select the AUTO REC or MANUAL REC mode.

I REC MODE off
: The drgrtal Input record mode is
switched off.
2 AUTO REC mode
: The drgrtal input signals (DTS, Dolby
Drgrtal, or PCM) are identified auto-
matically and converted Into stereo
srgnals that are ready for recording.
3 MANUAL REC mode : The input srgnal type at the moment
thus mode IS selected is held through-
out this mode.
