VENTILATION

All rooms require an openable window or equivalent,
while some rooms require a permanent vent in addition
to the openable window.
Ventilation must be in accordance with AS5601 -
Gas Installations. In general, the appliance should
have adequate ventilation for complete combustion
of gas, proper flueing and to maintain temperature of
immediate surroundings within safe limits.
The use of a gas appliance results in production of
heat and moisture in the room in which it is installed.
Ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated; keep
natural ventilation holes open or install a mechanical
ventilation device (mechanical extraction hood).
Prolonged intensive use of the appliance may call for
additional ventilation, for example increasing the level
of mechanical ventilation where present.
