15-6 Parental Control

Parental controls can be set to create viewing restrictions on your receiver. It is advised that you
first create your own Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Setting your PIN
The default PIN has been set to 0000. You can
change this as follows:
Press [ Menu ] on the remote.
Select "TV Setup" and press [ OK ].
Select " Parental Control " and press [ OK ].
You will be prompted to enter your PIN.
Enter the default PIN 0000.
Select "Change PIN" and press [OK].
Enter a new PIN in the "Enter New PIN" space.
You can only choose from numbers 0-9.
Re-enter new PIN in the "Confirm New PIN" space.

Setting Censorship

You may set a blocking age on service programmers
as follows:
Press [ Menu ] on the remote.
Select "TV Setup" and press [ OK ].
Select "Parental Control" and press [ OK ].
Enter your PIN.
To set a blocking age select "Censorship" and
use the right and left navigation buttons to select
desired blocking age.
You can choose to block all programmers by selecting "Block," or set blocks for ages 18+, 15+,
12+ or 6+. You may turn off age blocking by selecting "Off."
