Depending on your usage of the transmitter, the battery can last anywhere between 3 to 6 months. When the
battery is low, the transmitter will produce two beeps in a repetitive cycle. At that point you should replace
your battery with a new one. That is why we recommend that you keep a spare battery somewhere handy
such as the glove compartment.

User Guide
It is the responsibility of the vehicle operator to ensure their vehicle
is parked in a safe and responsible manner.
1. a) Manual transmission: When leaving the vehicle, it is the user's
responsibility to ensure that the gearshift lever is in the NEUTRAL
position and the parking brake is engaged in order to avoid accidents
upon remote starting.
b) Automatic transmission: When leaving the vehicle, it is the user's
responsibility to ensure that the gearshift lever is in "Park" in order to
avoid accidents upon remote starting.
(Note: Make sure that the automatic vehicle cannot start in "Drive".)
2. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the remote starter is disabled
or put into valet mode before servicing.

Vehicle Presets Heater & Heated Seat When leaving the vehicle it is recommended to preset the accessory controls in preparation for the next remote start. Settings for the blower motor (fan), front and rear, as well as heated seats (if equipped) should not be left on . -

For certain vehicles: • Pressing and holding the button for more than 3 seconds will lock all doors and will send a constant pulse as long as the button is held down (maximum of 15 seconds). This constant pulse can be configured to activate certain functionalities such as rolling up the windows – Please refer to your installer to see if your vehicle is compatible with this option. -

Remote-Starting Your Vehicle If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, simply press the button to remote start START/STOP or stop your vehicle. Skip the next steps on to “Remote-starting”. Warning: If you vehicle has an automatic transmission and the parking lights flash 15 times after pressing the button, the parking brake is connected to ground. -

Driving Off With the vehicle running under remote control, press the button to disarm and unlock the doors. Enter the vehicle and do the following: • Turn the ignition key to the position. (Do not turn the key to the IGNITION ON (RUN) CRANK position while the engine is running. -

Page 9: How To Enter Cold Weather Mode
24 hours. The vehicle must be set in ready mode (manual transmission) before the cold weather mode can be activated. To enter Cold Weather Mode: • Press and release the button until you hear a beep. Release the button, will appear, then press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the parking lights flash three times. -

Ignition-Controlled Door Locks This is an added security feature. If your remote starter was installed with the ignition-controlled door locks option, the doors will automatically be locked as soon as the ignition key is turned to the position while the brakes are pressed. When the key is turned to the position, IGNITION ON (RUN) the doors will automatically be unlocked. -

No Stop Confirmation Was Received: If after remote stopping the vehicle no confirmation was received i.e. the display did not return to its basic state simply press the button, this will refresh the display. If the engine was stopped, the smoke icon and the hourglass icon will disappear and the time will be displayed. Pressing the button will also lock all doors (the lock icon will appear). -
