WARNING: Confirm that all circuit breakers/switches feeding power to UPS are "Open" and locked out
per lock-out/tag-out procedures.

1. Open UPS input breakers (Main 1 & Bypass), Fig. 6.
2. Remove maintenance bypass switch safety cover.
3. Set maintenance bypass switch to "Bypass," Fig. 6
4. Remove terminal area safety cover, Fig. 6.
NOTE: If the UPS is fitted with an optional PDU, remove cover from PDU.
In order to gain access to the external electrical connections the rear wiring box protection panel of the
UPS must be removed. All wiring must be placed in proper conduits, and all cabling must be strain
relieved per local and national codes. See Table 4, "Cable Sizes," on page 12.
