CTCSS/DCS Bell Operation

During CTCSS Decoder or DCS Decoder operation,
you may set the FTA-720 up such that a ringing "bell"
sound alerts you to the fact that a call is coming in. Here
is the procedure for activating the CTCSS/DCS Bell:
 Set the transceiver up for CTCSS Decoder or DCS
Decoder operation, as described previously.
 Press the key, then press the

"2. Sound," then press the

tone or DCS code which matches that set into your de-
coder, the " " icon will blink, the BUSY/TX indicator
will flash in sequential colors, and a ringer will sound to
get your attention.
