a b Press Stop/Exit. Make sure that you have installed MFL-Pro Suite on your PC, and then turn on PC Fax Receiving on the PC. (For details about PC Fax
Receive, see Using Brother PC-FAX software (For Windows®) in the Software User's Guide on the CD-ROM.) Make sure that you have set PC Fax Receive

C a b c Take out any paper from the ADF that is not jammed. Open the ADF cover. Pull the jammed document out to the left. d e Close the document cover.
Press Stop/Exit. Document is jammed at the output tray C a b Take out any paper from the ADF that is not jammed. Pull the jammed document out to the
right. d e Close the ADF cover. Press Stop/Exit. Document is jammed inside the ADF unit C a b Take out any paper from the ADF that is not jammed.

ADF that is not jammed. Pull the jammed document out to the right. To clear paper jams, please follow the steps in this section. HOT SURFACE After you
have just used the machine, some internal parts of the machine will be extremely hot. When you open the front or back cover of the machine, DO NOT touch
the shaded parts shown in the illustration. c Press Stop/Exit. Paper is jammed inside the machine C a b Pull the paper tray completely out of the machine. Use
