9 Click OK when all the parameters have been selected.
10 Test to make sure that you have established communication
with the modem by typing the AT command "ATi4" and
pressing Enter.
11 You should see a message "Nextel, iDEN OK" or "Nextel,
iDEN 0".

Opening a HyperTerminal Session

The following table describes steps to start a HyperTerminal Session:
1 Windows 2000/XP/Windows 98:
Start Programs Accessories Communications Hyper
Terminal.
2 Windows NT:
Start Programs Accessories HyperTerminal HyperT
erminal
3 The HyperTerminal window will open. You are now ready
to issue AT commands to the Modem.
