10. Reboot the system and press <F2> to enter the System Setup and ensure that the hard drive controller is enabled.
11. Exit the System Setup program and reboot the system.
12. Install any software required for the hard drive operation as described in the documentation for the hard drive.

Removing A Hard Drive From A Hard-Drive Carrier

Detach the hard-drive carrier from the hard drive by pushing out at the edges of the carrier and remove the hard drive.

Installing A Hard Drive Into A Hard-Drive Carrier

1.
Align the screw holes on the hard drive with the screws on the hard-drive carrier.
2.
Press the hard drive into the hard-drive carrier to secure it.

NOTE: Only slim 9.5 mm SATA DVD-ROM drive or DVD+/-RW drive can be installed in your system. External optical
drives can be connected through USB ports.
NOTE: If you install an optical drive, you cannot install 2.5 inch hard drives.
NOTE: To install more than four drive devices (including optical drive and hard drives), you need an additional
power extension cable, controller card, and SATA cables (minimum 1.6 ft).
