Upper Chain Adjustment
1. Remove the primary chain case cover.
2. Check chain slack midway between the sprockets;
it should be 20-30 mm (0.79- 1.18 in). To
adjust tension, loosen the tensioner adjusting
bolts and move the tensioner up or down as
necessary.
