Clutch Cable Adjustment
1. Remove the V-belt cover.
2. Loosen clutch cable the lock nut and turn the
adjusting nut so that distance (A) is within the
following limits, when the clutch is disengaged.
3. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut securely,
and replace the V-belt cover. Then start the
engine and check for proper clutch lever ope-
ration.
NOTE:
If the distance A measurement can't be set
by the adjustment, the belts are probably worn
beyond use and should be replaced. Always replace
both belts as a set.

(2) Clutch cable adjusting bolt
(3) V-belt tightening bolt
(4) Tension roller
