Door Latch Assembly Switch - Whirlpool RS160LXT Manual

Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY SWITCH

Refer to page 4-12 for the procedure for ser-
vicing the door latch assembly switch.
1. Unplug range or disconnect power.
2. Disconnect the wires from the door latch
assembly switch terminals.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the door
latch assembly switch terminals. The meter
should indicate a open circuit (∞).
