Overriding a busy signal

Use the Override feature to override a busy signal and interrupt another
call.
To override a busy/engaged signal:

1. Choose one of the following:
— Press the
— Enter the
Forced Camp-on.
Note: The person you called receives a
tone. You receive a ring or ringback or a
busy or engaged signal, depending on
the options chosen. You are now
camped-on to the number you dialed.
2. Hang up the telephone.
3. After the person you called finishes the
call, your telephone automatically dials
the number and both telephones ring.
When your telephone rings, lift the
handset.
Note: You can program your telephone
for either Camp-on or Call Waiting, but
not both.
