Using the Model 70
Transcriber This program lets you use the stylus to write anywhere on the screen just
as you would on paper. Unlike Letter Recognizer and Block Recognizer, you can write
a sentence or more of information. Then, pause and Transcriber changes the written
characters to typed characters.
To show or hide the input panel
1. Tap the Input Panel button.
2. Tap the arrow next to the Input Panel button to see your choices.
When you use the input panel, your Model 70 anticipates the word you are typing or
writing and displays it above the input panel. When you tap the displayed word, it is
inserted into your text at the insertion point. The more you use your Model 70, the more
words it learns to anticipate.
Note: To change word suggestion options, such as the number of words suggested at
one time, tap , Settings, Personal tab, Input, and then the Word Completion tab.
To use the soft keyboard
1. Tap the arrow next to the Input Panel button and then Keyboard.
2. Tap a letter on the keyboard.
