Sleep timer

The unit turns off at a specified time when listening to a disc or the radio.

During playback, press the TIMER/SLEEP/CLOCK button.

Within 10 seconds, press the or
select "SLEEP", and press the ENTER button.

Press the or button to select the time.
The default is 60 minutes. Time changes by 5 minutes
(5 - 120) and decreases by 1 minute (5 - 1).

Press the ENTER button.
" The unit will enter the power stand-by mode automat-
ically after the preset time has elapsed.
" The volume will be turned down 1 minute before the sleep operation finishes,
and then you cannot change the volume.
To confirm the remaining sleep time:
Press the TIMER/SLEEP/CLOCK button.
To cancel the sleep operation:
Press the ON/STAND-BY button whilst "SLEEP" is indicated.
To cancel the sleep operation without setting the system to
the stand-by mode, proceed as follows.
1 Press the TIMER/SLEEP/CLOCK button.
2 Within 10 seconds, press the
"SLEEP OFF".
3 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.
